Fancy finished with two goals and three assists, while MacNaughton added two goals and two assists as Storm kept building their lead into the third. The Gusto Jr. Riverhawks pushed to the end and got a late reward when Nash Bursey scored unassisted in the final frame for the Riverhawks (0-2-2). Storm (4-1-0) closed out the 7-1 win.

MEMRAMCOOK — The Jr Hunters and Jr Axemen traded chances early, with Hudson MacKinnon opening the scoring before Carter Bishop answered to make it 1-1 after the first. The Axemen edged ahead late in the second on Carson Stronach’s marker, but Chase Hartigan replied just 37 seconds later to send it to the third tied 2-2. Hartigan’s hat trick paced the Hunters, while Edison McPherson added a goal and two assists as the lead swung back in the final frame. Jahmar Viner (1G, 1A) kept the Jr Axemen (1-3-0) within one late, before Hartigan sealed it for the Jr Hunters (3-3-0).

The Ducks settled in and answered in the middle frame on Jaxon Boudreau’s marker, then kept pushing in the third with Boudreau’s second and a Maddex Savoie goal set up by Noah Cassie and Jax Parker. The Freeze got goals from Michael MacNeil, Breton Cadegan and Dylan MacDonald to round out the 9-3 win. The Ducks (2-2-0) showed resilience throughout, while the Freeze (1-3-0) finished with a strong final period.

Edison McPherson set the tone with two goals and an assist, while Danny MacDougal chipped in four assists as the Hunters added a late second-period marker from Weston Clavette before a five-goal third. Maddox Harley, Emmett Gunn, Jake Corkum and Henry Purcell rounded out the scoring surge. Anthony Gionet, set up by Theo Boudreau, answered in the first for the Titan (0-3-1), while the Jr Hunters (3-3-0) finished strong.

GREENFOOT 4PLEX – A — In a back-and-forth tournament matchup, the Jr Axemen pulled out a 5-4 win over the Freeze. Freeze struck for three second-period goals, with Breton Cadegan, Greyson MacNeil and Cody Sheppard finding the net, while Greyson McVicar helped drive the offence with three assists for the Freeze (1-3-0). The Axemen stayed within reach through the middle frame on goals from Liam O’Reilly-Crossman and Jahmar Viner. After Michael MacNeil made it 4-2 early in the third, Viner’s second and tallies from Oliver Bezanson and Hunter Shepherd completed the comeback for the Jr Axemen (1-3-0).

Axl Bourgeois (1G, 1A) and Noah Cassie struck in the first period to set the tone, before the Ducks added to it in the second with goals from Philippe Robichaud and Maddex Savoie (1G, 1A). Cassie’s second of the game at 4:38 of the third made it 5-0, but the Axemen answered with late goals from Mason Kovac (assisted by Jahmar Viner) and Harrison Ryan (from Neil Archibald). The Jr Axemen (1-3-0) showed pushback to the end, but the Ducks (2-2-0) stayed in front.

GREENFOOT 4PLEX – C — Rocket jumped out early as Aiden Davidson opened the scoring at 11:03 of the first, then Seth Matthews made it 2-0 before the period was out. The Gusto Jr. Riverhawks kept pushing and broke through in the third, with Evan Connell, George Connell (from Evan), and Cole Beckwith (from Kam Ward) scoring in a late surge to pull even and briefly move ahead. Rocket answered back in the final minutes on Hunter Arsenault’s goal to secure the 3-3 finish. The Riverhawks (0-2-2) showed plenty of fight, while Rocket (4-1-1) stayed composed to close it out.

GREENFOOT 4PLEX – C — Hunter Williams opened the scoring at 8:46 of the first for the Titan, with Raphael Kearney setting up the play. The Gusto Jr. Riverhawks answered with a strong second period, getting goals from Chase Bates (Kam Ward, Tyler Hewey) and Spencer Vaughan (Calder Mills), before Anthony Gionet’s marker with 22 seconds left in the frame pulled Titan even. Anthony Hackey (Kearney, Vincent Ross) had Titan in front early in the third, but Ward’s late equalizer secured the 3-3 finish for Titan (0-3-1) and the Riverhawks (0-2-2).

Aiden Davidson opened the scoring late in the first period, finishing a play set up by Dean MacDonald. The Hunters answered early in the second when Wilder Bradley tied it with help from Emmett Gunn and Edison McPherson, but the Rocket pulled away with two more second-period goals from Hansen Ching (from Peter MacDonald) and Davidson (from Elias McDonnell). The Jr Hunters (3-3-0) kept pushing, but Ben Fraser helped close it out for the Rocket (4-1-1).

GREENFOOT 4PLEX – D — The Vipers earned a 4-0 win over the Jr Axemen after building an early lead in the opening period. Sam Miller scored twice in a quick first-period burst, with Gavin LeBlanc and Gavin Hemsworth picking up helpers. Cayson Firth added to the cushion at 04:46 of the first, assisted by Hemsworth and Miller, then finished the scoring with his second at 02:48 of the second. In goal, Maddox Hebert posted the shutout as the Jr Axemen (1-3-0) battled to generate offence, while the Vipers (4-1-0) kept their momentum rolling.

Easton Veld earned the shutout for the Rocket, while Nate Stewart kept the Storm (4-1-0) within reach throughout a tight-checking contest. Coach Tyler Matthews’ Rocket (4-1-1) advanced with a composed, two-goal effort.

Corkum added a third-period marker before Gavin Hemsworth, assisted twice by Sam Miller, brought the Vipers back within one at 6:48. Corkum’s second of the game at 0:38 proved to be the difference, even after Hemsworth struck again with seven seconds left. Coach Cody Firth’s Vipers (4-1-0) pushed hard late, but came up just short against the Jr Hunters (3-3-0).

MEMRAMCOOK — The Gusto Jr. Riverhawks broke open a scoreless start with three goals late in the first period and carried that momentum to a 7-0 tournament win over the Champions Red Hounds. Jacob Garnett paced the Riverhawks with two goals, including the lone marker of the third, while Max Fleming added a goal and an assist. Koen Leblanc, Cruz Murray, Kaiden Comeau and Cam Vautour also scored, and Kolby McFarlane earned the shutout. The Hounds (0-4-0) stayed determined throughout, but couldn’t find a breakthrough against the Riverhawks (3-2-0).

Charlie Conway scored twice for the Bombers, with Beckett Sauchenko and McGuire Perry adding the other markers, while Nate Parsons, Brennan Toole, Ben Taylor and Drew Dickieson chipped in helpers. Max Yuill scored late in the opening frame for Coach Matthew Brown’s Battalion, set up by Benjamin Kuske. The Battalion (1-3-0) kept pushing, but the Bombers (2-2-1) pulled away with two third-period goals.

James Aitken scored twice in the first period, then Jackson Wakeford added a second-period marker to make it 3-0. In the third, goals from Charlie Lavoie and Brennan Lavigne stretched the lead before the Ducks rallied with four straight, led by two from Wyatt Sutton and singles from Loik Dion and Zaik Nadeau. The Red Hounds pushed back late in the second when Beau Ryan finished a play from Bryson McCoy and Emmett Roach, but the Bombers answered quickly and added two more in the third. The Red Hounds (0-4-0) kept working to generate chances, while the Bombers (2-2-1) closed out the result.

Coach Matt Wright’s Red Hounds (0-4-0) kept pushing for a breakthrough, but couldn’t solve Laidlaw as the Blue Battalion (1-3-0) closed it out.

Deklan Wallace Ryder opened the scoring at 5:49 of the second period, set up by Loik Dion, before the Bombers answered with two quick goals from Drew Dickieson (Beckett Carr) and Beckett Sauchenko (Brennan Toole) to move in front. Dominic Dargavel brought the Ducks level at 9:50 of the third, again off a Dion assist, as both teams held firm the rest of the way. The Brave Bombers (2-2-1) earned a point, as did the Ducks (1-2-1).

Rocket answered in the third as Jack Holland scored twice to erase a two-goal deficit, but Vautour’s winner at 08:36 held up to seal it for the Riverhawks (3-2-0). Braydon Mackay also scored for Rocket (1-2-1).

The Brave Bombers made it a game in the third, with Sawyer Campbell setting up Bennett Ellis at 13:07, then scoring at 12:40 off a feed from Fred Ellis.
