The Riverhawks pushed back in the second when Winnie Houghton finished a play from Kaela Martin at 8:22 to cut into the lead. Roy added her second of the game at 7:18 of the third to close it out. The Riverhawks (0-4-0) stayed determined throughout, while the Hornets (2-2-1) capped a strong tournament showing.

Kaela Martin opened the scoring late in the first and, after Madeline Doiron made it 2-0 early in the second, the Comets answered with goals from Camilla Weatherby and Isla Cameron to pull even. Weatherby took over in the third, scoring twice more — including a marker set up by Charlie MacDonald and Willow Pellerine — before Martin struck in the final second to tighten it late for the Riverhawks (0-4-0). The Comets (1-4-0) held on from there.

The Red Hornets pushed back in the second as Sparrow Roy converted a Jade Welsh setup at 6:41 to make it 3-1. PEI answered in the third with Lexi Biggar’s marker before Andrews closed it out with two more, including one from Biggar, to complete a hat trick. Roy’s goal was the breakthrough for the Red Hornets (2-2-1), while Andrews led the way for PEI (4-2-0).

The Riverhawks kept pushing and were rewarded when Kaela Martin struck with 12 seconds left in the game for Gusto Riverhawks (0-4-0), while Impact (5-0-1) stayed unbeaten.

FORUM (SEMI 3 VS 2) — PEI erased an early two-goal deficit and pulled away with a big third period to top the Red Hornets 5-4. After Sparrow Roy and Grace MacFarlane gave the Hornets a 2-0 first-period lead, Lexi Biggar struck twice for PEI, with Zoey Bondt adding another and Elyse Doucette picking up two assists. MacFarlane scored again and Theresa Thomas also found the net for the Red Hornets (2-2-1), but Coach Jake Arsenault’s PEI (4-2-0) finished strong.

Anabelle Gaudet scored three times, while Madeleine Thompson added two goals and an assist and Ariane Gray chipped in a goal and two assists. Harper Ruhston also finished with a pair. The Comets showed pushback after Camilla Weatherby opened their scoring early in the second, and she added another in the third, with Danica Vale picking up two assists. Kasey Scothorn had the other Comets goal (1-4-0), as Impact closed out the semi with pace (5-0-1).

GREENFOOT – C (GOLD) — The Impact broke through with three goals in a quick stretch of the second period to earn a 3-0 win over PEI. Lausanne Richard opened the scoring at 7:43, with Lena Mallet and Kate Bellefleur adding insurance before the midway point of the frame. Harper Rushton chipped in with assists on the first two markers, while Valerie Caissie turned aside everything she faced to secure the shutout. Coach Jake Arsenault’s PEI (4-2-0) kept working for chances right to the end, but couldn’t find a way past Caissie as Impact (5-0-1) closed it out. GREENFOOT – C — The Force struck first when Joryn MacDonald opened the scoring at 2:56 of the first period, but the Trailblazers settled in and answered with Riyen Reynolds’ tying goal at 10:29. Madysen Moreau’s marker at 11:54 of the second gave the Trailblazers the lead for good, and Ariel Ashton added an insurance goal in the third, set up by Quinn Ross. The Force (0-4-0) kept pushing to close the gap, while coach Phil Dawson’s Trailblazers (1-2-1) saw out a 3-1 decision.

GREENFOOT – C — The Rock Devils built a 2-1 lead in the first period on unassisted goals from Scarlett Hooper (11:49) and Julia Smith (9:03), then carried a 3-2 edge into the third after Hooper struck again at 6:10 of the second with help from Briar Pond. The Comets answered with Penelope MacNeil’s opener at 2:40 of the first, set up by Hadley Goar, and Sarah Vandenburg’s second-period marker (9:16) to keep it close. Late third-period goals from Tessa Ryan (2:42) and Maddyn Kieley (1:03) sealed it for the Devils (4-1-1) over the Comets (0-4-0).

EAST HANTS – KMA — The Rock Devils jumped in front early and carried a 4-0 lead out of the first period on goals from Sydney Riggs, Briar Pond (2), and Maddyn Kieley. The Force got on the board just 18 seconds into the second when Willow Verran struck, but Kieley answered later in the frame to restore the cushion. Riggs added her second late in the third to cap a three-goal day for Kieley and a pair for Pond. Julia Price earned the win in net. The Force (0-4-0) kept battling, but the Rock Devils (4-1-1) closed it out.

CIVIC — Taylor Batt opened the scoring at 11:20 of the first period, finishing an Emma Hann setup as Inferno grabbed an early edge. The Comets answered at 5:27 when Hadley Goar pulled even, setting up a tight battle the rest of the way. Hann restored the lead late in the frame at 2:36, and with no scoring after that, Inferno held on for the 2-1 win. The Comets (0-4-0) pushed to the final buzzer, while Inferno (3-1-1) secured a strong tournament result.

EAST HANTS – KMA — The Trailblazers and P’tite Tempete skated to a 0-0 tie on Friday in a tightly played tournament matchup. Sadie Doyle turned in a shutout performance for the Trailblazers, keeping things even through three scoreless periods. At the other end, Anais Noel matched her save for save for P’tite Tempete (1-1-2), with both teams staying patient and committed as the clock wound down. The Trailblazers (1-2-1) earned the result in a game where neither side gave much away.

Ali Plme opened the scoring in the first, then Lucy MacNeil struck three times in the second period to create separation. Plme added a third-period marker and also set up two of MacNeil’s goals, while Brielle Smith rounded out the offence with a late goal and an assist. The Hornets kept pushing in the third, getting goals from Lilah Ogilvie and Jessa Ouellette. The Hornets (1-2-2) showed plenty of resolve, while the Riverhawks (5-0-1) stayed unbeaten.

Charlotte Boyd opened the scoring, and Addison Pardy added a first-period marker before striking again in the second, with Madelyn Clancey picking up the helper on that goal. Taylor Batt and Callie Fudge also scored in a busy middle frame, and Emma Hann’s third-period goal provided breathing room. The Force (0-4-0) answered with three second-period goals from Juliet Wamboldt, Melody Johnston and Lucille Zwicker, as the Inferno (3-1-1) finished strong.

Sarah Vandenburg (10:14) and Penelope MacNeil (1:40) struck in the opening frame to give the Comets (0-4-0) an early edge. Tempete answered with a goal at 8:36 of the first, then Em y Tardif tied it at 8:57 of the second before scoring again late in the third. Rosane Gagne added an insurance marker with six seconds left, while Meganne Fournier chipped in two assists for P’tite Tempete (1-1-2).

Amelia Walsh Dickie (assist: Jessa Ouellette) got them on the board, then Gracelyn Hayward, Meredith Clarke, and Ouellette capped the comeback with the late tying goal. Tempete (1-1-2) battled to the end, while the Hornets (1-2-2) earned the draw.

Henneberg then added a pair in the third, striking at 11:20 off an Isla Carson feed and again at 8:00 with help from Sarah Wyand to give Top Shelf a three-goal cushion. Force kept pushing and got a late reward when Olivia Sweeney scored unassisted at 3:30. The finish saw Force (2-3-0) battle to the horn, while Top Shelf (6-0-0) stayed perfect.

GREENFOOT – C — The Inferno broke through in the second period and went on to a 2-0 win over the Comets. Avery Parsons opened the scoring at 10:45, and Adrianna Pickett followed at 4:22 to provide the difference. Charlie Lyver turned in a shutout for the Inferno, while Paris Jennings kept the Comets close as the game stayed tight into the middle frame. The Comets (1-3-0) pushed for a response the rest of the way, but couldn’t solve Lyver. The Inferno (3-2-0) closed it out with a composed finish.
