DALHOUSIE — The PEI Rocket jumped out early as Aiden Davidson (Hunter Arsenault) opened the scoring before Seth Matthews (Eli Taylor) made it 2-0 late in the first. NB Vipers answered in the second, tying it on goals from Dylan Trewin (Aiden Rickard) and Jonny Baxter-Barkhouse (Cayson Firth). The Vipers pulled ahead in the third when Gavin Hemsworth (Blake McMaho) broke the deadlock, and Sam Miller (Hemsworth) added insurance to close out the 4-2 win. The Rocket (5-1-0) kept pushing, while the Vipers (2-2-0) finished strong.

DALHOUSIE — Gusto Jr Riverhawks jumped out in front with three first-period goals from Hudson Douglas, Nash Bursey and Spencer Vaughan, with Kam Ward setting the table on the first two. CB Freeze pushed back early in the second when Greyson McVicar converted a Cody Sheppard feed, but Douglas struck again at 8:56 to restore a three-goal cushion. Sheppard, assisted by Kai Cameron, added a third-period marker to keep the Freeze (0-4-0) pressing to the end. Coach Matt Bursey’s Riverhawks (2-2-0) held on to close out the 4-2 win.

DALHOUSIE — NL IMPACT jumped in front early and never looked back in an 7-0 win over the NB TITAN. James Gale set the tone with two first-period markers and finished with four on the day, while Jaxson Hughes added two goals and two assists as the lead grew in each frame. Ben Eveleigh chipped in a goal and an assist, and Mason Parsons had the other Impact tally. In net, Seamus Whalen earned the shutout. The Titan (2-2-0) kept competing through a tough afternoon, while the Impact (5-1-0) closed out a strong performance.

NS JR HUNTERS answered in the second when Henry Purcell tied it at 2:51, but Ethan Fancy restored the lead late in the frame, with Chase Sangster picking up the assist. The Storm pulled away in the third on goals from Emily MacLeod and Vonn MacNaughton’s marker with 59 seconds left. Purcell’s finish kept the Hunters pushing to the end for the Jr Hunters (2-2-0), while the Storm (3-2-0) wrapped up the win.

GREENFOOT – D — The PEI ROCKET jumped out early with two quick first-period goals from William Doiron and Hunter Arsenault, setting the tone in an 8-1 win over the CB FREEZE. Aiden Davidson and Arsenault each scored twice, while Chace Hebert, Seth Matthews and Hansen Ching added the rest as the Rocket kept adding pressure through the second and into the late stages of the third. Greyson MacNeil broke through for the Freeze with a third-period marker, a positive moment for Coach Andrew Morrison’s group as the CB FREEZE (0-4-0) continued to push, while the PEI ROCKET (5-1-0) closed out the result.

RBC – D — Maddex Savoie scored three times as the NB DUCKS pulled away early and completed a 5-0 win over the NB TITAN. Savoie opened the scoring in the first period, then Theo Martin added two goals as the Ducks built a 3-0 lead before the break. Savoie struck twice more early in the third, with Noah Hultberg and Jakob Pepicky helping set up the 12:05 marker. Coach Lucas Martin’s Ducks also got a 20-shot shutout from Xavier Brine. The Titan (2-2-0) kept working to generate chances, but the Ducks (3-1-1) stayed in control to finish it.

GREENFOOT – D — NL IMPACT answered an early CB FREEZE opener and pulled away for a 10-3 tournament win. Jack Keough scored twice in a three-goal first period for the Impact, with James Gale adding a pair as well. A six-goal second period broke things open, highlighted by two goals from Madelyn Clancey and a big playmaking showing from Jaxson Hughes. Ben Eveleigh finished with two goals, including one in the third. Cody Sheppard, Greyson McVicar and Breton Cadegan provided the offence for Coach Andrew Morrison’s CB FREEZE (0-4-0), while Coach Paul Whalen’s NL IMPACT (5-1-0) kept rolling.

Cian Mackenzie led the way with four goals and an assist, while Jake Corkum scored twice and Wilder Bradley chipped in a pair of helpers for the Hunters. Dylan Trewin provided both goals for the Vipers, striking late in the second and again in the third. In goal, Knoll Mackenzie turned aside 22 of 24 shots, as Coach Jack Hartigan’s Hunters (2-2-0) finished strong against the determined Vipers (2-2-0).

GREENFOOT – A — The NB Ducks earned a 4-2 win over the Gusto Jr Riverhawks in a back-and-forth tournament matchup. Nash Bursey opened the scoring early for the Riverhawks, but Kian Toda replied for the Ducks before the end of the first. NB pulled ahead in the second on Jaxon Boudreau’s marker, with Toda picking up the assist. In the third, Theo Martin added breathing room before Bursey struck again late to make it interesting. Axl Bourgeois sealed it in the final minute as the Riverhawks (2-2-0) pushed late, but the Ducks (3-1-1) held on.

CIVIC — Kian Toda opened the scoring at 10:56 of the first period as the NB DUCKS built an early lead, but NS POTTIE HOCKEY answered in the second when Jeremy Lu struck at 14:29 to pull things even. The third period featured a quick trade of goals, with Maddex Savoie scoring at 3:40 before Pippa Tait responded at 3:10, set up by Landon Cook, to lock in a 2-2 finish. Hudson MacLeod held the fort for Pottie Hockey (0-3-1), while Xavier Brine backstopped the Ducks (3-1-1).

CIVIC — Edison McPherson opened the scoring at 4:13 of the first period as the NS JR HUNTERS jumped out early. NL IMPACT answered with a big second, getting a pair from James Gale and singles from Jaxson Hughes and Jack Keough to take control. Chase Hartigan, set up by Cian Mackenzie, broke through at 3:41 of the second to keep the Hunters pushing. Impact kept rolling in the third with goals from John Whalen, Russell Goodyear and Hughes to close it out, as the Impact (5-1-0) earned the win over the Jr. Hunters (2-2-0).

CIVIC — Ethan Fancy scored twice as the NS STORM topped the NS JR AXEMEN 4-1 on Friday morning. Fancy opened the scoring at 10:48 of the first period, and Emily MacLeod added another at 5:47 to give Storm an early cushion. After Fancy made it 3-0 early in the second, Jahmar Viner answered at 4:55 to get the Axemen on the board and keep the game moving in the right direction for NS JR AXEMEN (0-4-0). Vonn MacNaughton’s third-period goal rounded out the scoring for NS STORM (3-2-0).

RBC – A — The NB DUCKS pulled away for a 7-1 tournament win over the NS JR AXEMEN on Friday. Philippe Robichaud opened the scoring, setting the tone for a three-goal first period that also featured two tallies from Noah Hultberg. The Ducks kept building from there, with Arlo Vlahopoulos adding a second-period marker before Jaxon Boudreau scored twice early in the third, and Noah Cassie finished the offence. Carter Bishop, set up by Liam O’Reilly-Crossman, provided the lone response for Coach Chris King’s Jr Axemen (0-4-0), while the Ducks (3-1-1) capped a strong all-around effort.

RBC -D — The NB VIPERS pulled away late for a 6-3 win over NS POTTIE HOCKEY on Friday. Madison Mayo scored twice to give Pottie Hockey an early spark, but Gavin Hemsworth answered with four goals for the Vipers, including a quick strike at 00:02 of the second and a key third-period marker at 04:50. Jonny Baxter-Barkhouse and Blake McMaho also found the net, while Jeremy Lu kept NS close with a second-period response. NS Pottie Hockey (0-3-1) pushed throughout, but the Vipers (2-2-0) finished strong.

RBC – C — After falling behind 2-0, the NB TITAN rallied for a 4-2 win over the GUSTO JR RIVERHAWKS on Friday. Tyler Hewey opened the scoring late in the first for the Riverhawks, and Calder Mills made it 2-0 early in the second. The Titan answered in the middle frame with Anthony Gionet’s goal at 6:18 and Vincent Ross at 4:42 to pull even. Ross broke the tie late in the third, and Gionet added insurance in the final minute for the Riverhawks (2-2-0) against the Titan (2-2-0).

RBC – A — Nathan Walsh struck twice in a quick burst late in the second period as the NS Storm pulled ahead, with helpers coming from Jackson Totten and Vonn MacNaughton. FORUM — The PEI ROCKET raced out to a 3-0 first-period lead on goals from Eli Taylor, Hunter Arsenault and Dean MacDonald. The NS JR AXEMEN answered in the second, getting them back within one on tallies by Jahmar Viner and Liam O’Reilly-Crossman, before Carter Bishop tied it early in the third. MacDonald responded 34 seconds into the frame with the eventual winner, and Arsenault added his second with three seconds left to close it out. Benjamin King stopped 32 of 36 for the Axemen (0-4-0), while the Rocket (5-1-0) held on late.

With the Storm pressing, Joel Freake sealed it with a goal in the final seconds. Raphael Kearney opened the scoring at 11:46 of the first, then Anthony Gionet made it 2-0 early in the second. Michael MacNeil pulled the Freeze within one at 3:15 of the middle frame, but the Titan answered in the third with goals from Hunter Williams and Jackson Doucet, with Kearney picking up an assist. Dylan MacDonald, set up by Leo Knott, added a third-period marker for the Freeze (0-4-0), while the Titan (2-2-0) finished strong.

GREENFOOT – C (SEMI 4 vs 1) — NL IMPACT opened with five first-period goals and never let up in a 10-3 win over NS STORM. James Gale drove the offence with six goals, while Madelyn Clancey added two, including the opener, and chipped in helpers on key second-period tallies. Mason Parsons and Russell Goodyear rounded out the scoring as the Impact pulled away with a three-goal middle frame. The Storm answered early with goals from Will King, Ethan Fancy and Gary Mahar, showing plenty of fight in a busy first period for NS STORM (3-2-0). NL IMPACT (5-1-0) kept the pressure on to close it out.

GREENFOOT – D (SEMI 3 vs 2) — The PEI ROCKET struck three times in the first period and carried the momentum to a 5-0 semifinal win over the NB DUCKS. Hansen Ching opened the scoring, with Dean MacDonald and Cohen Cudmore adding to the early surge, before Seth Matthews made it 4-0 in the second. Eli Taylor capped the offence in the third, while Easton Veld earned the shutout. The Ducks (3-1-1) kept working to generate chances and push back as the game went on, but couldn’t solve the Rocket (5-1-0).

GREENFOOT D (FINALS) — PEI Rocket and NL Impact traded chances in a back-and-forth final that ended 6-5 for the Rocket. Seth Matthews scored twice for PEI, while Elias McDonell added two goals and Dean MacDonald chipped in two assists. Cohen Cudmore and Hansen Ching also found the net as the Rocket carried a 2-1 edge after one and were tied 3-3 heading into the third. James Gale led the Impact with two goals and an assist, with Russell Goodyear, John Whalen and Jaxson Hughes rounding out the scoring. The Impact (5-1-0) pushed late, but the Rocket (5-1-0) held on.

Braven Anhorn and Jake McAllister scored twice apiece as the Vipers turned a 4-4 tie into a late surge, with McAllister striking at 6:22 and 2:29 before Anhorn added an insurance marker at 1:02. Brendan Debaie paced NS Pottie Hockey (0-4-0) with two goals, while Declan Wallace and George Kannellakos also found the net. The NB Vipers (6-0-0) stayed unbeaten with the victory.

McAvinn opened the scoring at 2:29 of the first, and Fred Ellis added another with 39 seconds left to make it 2-0. McAvinn’s unassisted marker in the second stretched the margin before Liam Mackinnon finished a third-period push for the NS BLUE BATTALION (0-4-0) on a setup from Clark MacDonald and Ethan Fudge. Ben Taylor answered back late, and Kamden Lewis turned aside 23 of 24 shots for the Bombers (2-2-0).

GREENFOOT – D — The NB VIPERS built a 4-0 cushion through two periods and held on for a 4-3 tournament win over the CHAMPIONS RED HOUNDS. Andrew Bowes scored twice for the Vipers, opening the scoring late in the first before adding another in the second, with Charlie Lavoie (one goal, one assist) and Brennan Lavigne rounding out the offence. The Red Hounds pushed back, getting a late second-period goal from Haidyn Smith and third-period tallies from Xavier McMullin and Regan Blanchette to make it tight to the finish for the CHAMPIONS RED HOUNDS (0-4-0) against the NB VIPERS (6-0-0).

GREENFOOT – D — The PEI Rocket built an early edge before holding off a spirited push from the NS Blue Battalion in a 4-3 decision. Max McQuillan and Gavin O’Keefe scored first-period goals, but Will Munroe answered late in the frame for the Battalion. In the second, Munroe struck again and Declin Brown added another to briefly put NS in front, before Jack Holland’s marker tied it. Braydon MacKay’s goal with 1:23 left sealed it for the Rocket (3-2-0). The Battalion (0-4-0) kept pressing to the final horn.

GREENFOOT – D — Gusto Jr Riverhawks built an early lead with first-period goals from Caleb Boyce and Jacob Garnett, and kept rolling from there in a 6-2 win over NL Impact. Ethan Simpson extended the advantage in the second, before Bentley Broderick got Impact on the board at 6:11, with help from Jake Gaudett and Reid Boyd. Avery Hughes made it 3-2 early in the third, but the Riverhawks answered with three late goals, including Garnett’s second, plus markers from Liam Tibbetts and Max Fleming. Coach Stephen Sutherland’s Riverhawks (4-2-0) finished strong, while the Impact (2-2-0) showed pushback to the final buzzer.

Jake Gaudett opened the scoring just 31 seconds into the final frame, then added another at 3:35 with Sam Ottenheimer picking up the helper. Reid Boyd sealed it late at 14:13, finishing a play set up by Anders Brent. The Blue Battalion (0-4-0) kept things tight through two scoreless periods and pushed for chances down the stretch, but the Impact (2-2-0) closed it out with a shutout.

Layton Smith opened the scoring at 5:35 of the first before Charlie Conway answered at 8:50, with Jack McAvinn picking up the assist. Brennan Lavigne’s marker early in the second put the Vipers ahead, and he later set up Henry Ells’ goal 42 seconds into the third. McPhee opened the scoring early in the first, with Gavin O’Keefe and Braydon Mackay adding key goals as the Rocket carried a 3-2 edge into the third. The Riverhawks kept pushing back in the middle frame on goals from Ethan Simpson and Camden Fraser, and Jack Martin pulled them closer in the third. The Gusto Jr Riverhawks (4-2-0) showed plenty of fight throughout, while the PEI Rocket (3-2-0) finished strong down the stretch.

Jacob Boutilier opened the scoring at 11:09 of the first period and added another, while Denver Sylvester scored three times as the Freeze built a 3-0 lead after one and added four more in the second. Emmett Gouthro and Emery Gouthro also found the net, with Ashton Murphy chipping in a pair of assists. Nolan Brand earned the shutout as the Battalion (0-4-0) kept battling to the final buzzer against the Freeze (2-2-0).

RBC – A — William Hache scored three times as the NB TITAN held on for a 3-2 win over the NB DUCKS. Hache struck twice in the first period, then finished his hat trick at 01:39 of the second, with help from Evan Brideau and Hudson Collins. The Ducks answered back in the middle frame when Zaik Nadeau converted a setup from Loik Dion and Jackson Lepper, and Gabriel Horn pulled them within one late off a feed from Zac LeBlanc. The Titan (3-1-0) did enough to close it out, despite a strong push from the Ducks (3-2-0).

Connor Townshend scored twice in a quick first-period burst to put the Rocket ahead, and Braydon MacKay added the other marker. The Bombers answered with goals from Fred Ellis, Brennan Toole, Greyden Gallant and Charlie Conway, with Toole and Gallant each adding an assist as the lead changed hands in a busy second period. The Rocket (3-2-0) kept pushing late, but the Bombers (2-2-0) closed it out.
