ECV — The Blue Thunder dominated the game with an impressive offensive performance, defeating the Hurricanes 10-4. Finn O’Neill opened the scoring for the Thunder with a goal at 9:17 of the first period, followed by quick goals from Owen Welsh and Nathan Murray, putting the Thunder ahead 3-1 after the first.The Hurricanes, led by Brody Wisen, managed to score twice in the third period, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Thunder’s lead. Owen Welsh and Benson Russell each added goals for the Thunder in the second period, while Nathan Murray scored again in the third. The Blue Thunder’s depth was evident as they continued to find the back of the net, ultimately sealing their victory with Loughlan Cooper’s late goal in the third period.
